Sonni Bass, owner and founder of Capriccio Salon has worked in the cosmetology industry for more than 20 years. After attending college at southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, and graduating from Loma Linda University, Sonni soon realized her true calling was to pursue a career in the Beauty Industry.
Her first business venture was the Baden-Baden Salon within the Olympic hotel in Carlsbad, CA, which she owned and operated for four years. After considerable success and in interest to expand her business for an ever increasing demand for her services, Sonni made the decision to construct a Salon and Day Spa that would meet the needs and attract the people of North County of San Diego.
Her site selection, strategically located on the corner of El Camino Real, and Carlsbad Village Drive has proven to be an ideal location for easy access to serve her North County clientele.
Her upscale design from the beginning has been considered by many to be inviting to both a male an female clientele. It has a unique and classic design, where the clients feel welcome.
Sonni’s approach to her Salon business has always been to present an inviting atmosphere for the Salon clients and a professional work place for her staff. One of Sonni’s passions is to continually upgrade the professionalism of her Salon with an effort to attract the most qualified and expert staff members. As an example she offers monthly educational classes at the Salon for all her staff as well as the surrounding salons in he area. This has resulted in the Capriccio Salon and Spa staff to remain on the cutting edge of the industry and a staff Sonni is extremely proud to present to the community.
Sonni is committed to an ongoing effort in improving the atmosphere of her Salon an Spa, as well as the continued education and professionalism of her team members of Capriccio Salon and Day Spa.
